Increasingly drawn towards more personal projects over the years, Stephane Sednaoui has redefined his artistic approach to solely focus on his art and cinematographic projects. He is currently, quietly and happily, developing his film and books projects.

New, existing, and primarily unseen work have been exhibited in group shows: at the MoMA, New York (2015) – the Brooklyn Museum, New York (2013) – the Barbican Gallery, London (2014) – Le Grand Palais, Paris (2015) and the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne (2014); and in solo exhibitions: at the Sam Art Projects Foundation, Paris (2013) and the 9/11 Memorial Museum (2013-current), New York.

In the first part of his career Stéphane Sednaoui has explored with success various film and photographic territories, covering the genres of music videos, photojournalism, portrait and pop culture.

In 2005, Palm Pictures included a retrospective of his work, The Work of Director Stéphane Sednaoui, to its seven dvd series dedicated to some of the best music video directors.
In 2014, Kehrer published his photography book Search & Rescue at Ground Zero.

While preparing his projects, he post past/current photo diaries on his instagram.
